150 Ambassadors of good practice in science

Three early-carreer researchers affiliated with Max Planck Institutes among eLife ERC advisory group

150 early-career researchers from six continents take part in the 2018 eLife Ambassador program

Working with eLife, Ambassadors will support the development and reach of initiatives ranging from encouraging the use of preprints to increasing the reproducibility of science, by leading conversations in their local communities, facilitating local discussions and connecting their communities with international developments

Collectively, eLife Ambassadors have chosen to champion ten different causes, including:

Career development and mentoring
Science communication and publishing
Diversity in science
Open access
Peer review
Preprints
Reproducibility and good lab practice
Transparency and bioethics
Highlighting funding opportunities
Open science

Three of the 150 Amassadors are affiliated with Max Planck Insitutes:

Vivek Bhardwaj, Max Planck Institute of Immunobiology and Epigenetics, Germany (Interests: Preprints, reproducibility and good laboratory practice)
Cristiana Cruceanu, Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry, Munich, Germany (Interests: Career development and mentoring)
Ahmed Khalil, Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive & Brain Sciences, Germany
