New Open Access agreement with Hindawi

MPDL established a new central agreement with Open Access publisher Hindawi

The Max Planck Digital Library (MPDL) strives to make Open Access publishing as easy as possible for the researchers of the Max Planck Society. One measure is to contract central agreements covering article processing charges (APCs) out of central funds on behalf of Max Planck authors.

MPDL established a new central agreement with Open Access publisher Hindawi, allowing Max Planck authors to publish Open Access in all Hindawi journals. Open Access charges for all corresponding authors with a Max Planck affiliation will be covered centrally by MPDL as of submission date August 1, 2017.

As of today, MPDL covers APCs for publication in more than 5300 OA journals!
